EXPOSITION

"Making Peace", exposition photographique en plein air, offre une présentation du mouvement international en faveur de la paix, et raconte comment les individus et organisations impliqués dans la paix ont façonné et influencé le cours du 20e siècle.

Malgré les deux guerres mondiales et de nombreux conflits sanglants, des victoires importantes ont été remportées, telles que la fin de la guerre froide et du régime de l’apartheid, l’interdiction des mines antipersonnel et la création du Tribunal pénal international (TPI) — tous en large mesure le résultat des efforts de la société civile.

EXHIBITION

The "Making Peace" outdoor photo-exhibition offers a presentation of the international movement for peace in its broadest sense, and how these persons and organisations have shaped and influenced the course of the 20th century.

Despite two World Wars and many bloody conflicts, there have been significant triumphs, such as the ending of the Cold War and the apartheid regime, the banning of antipersonnel landmines and the creation of the International Criminal Court (ICC) — all of which were in large part the result of civil society efforts.
